Why the name Steady State Fuel Systems LLC?

Thank you for your interest in our newsletter! This marks the first of many posts we hope to share, and I’m thrilled to begin with an explanation of our company name, Steady State Fuel Systems LLC.

Why “Steady State”?

The name Steady State Fuel Systems LLC reflects our deep appreciation for the importance of stability in mission-critical systems. This respect for stability comes from my experience as a nuclear engineer (and machinist Mate, for those in the know) in the U.S. Navy.

While maintaining and operating a nuclear power plant, I learned that the key to generating reliable power for our ship was a robust design philosophy that mirrored nature’s way of seeking balance. Achieving and maintaining that balance meant stability—a critical factor for consistent performance.

In the operation of a nuclear power plant, our goal was always to reach stability by minimizing the number of changes or inputs needed to achieve the desired outcome. A system in a stable environment is considered to be in a “steady state,” and it is only during periods of transition—when systems are out of steady state—that breakdowns and malfunctions tend to occur.

The quicker we could achieve and maintain a steady state, the more reliable and consistent our power generation.

Bringing Steady State to Fuel Systems

Our patent-pending design for Steady State Fuel Systems LLC is built on the same principles of stability. We’ve designed our system to minimize the number of inputs required to achieve a reliable fuel supply to a diesel-powered generator. This ensures stability, efficiency, and, most importantly, reliability in mission-critical applications.

We’re excited to introduce our Steady State Fuel System to you, and we welcome your feedback, questions, and ideas!
